Lemon Drop Kids Therapy is a Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service servicing Greater Geelong, The Surf Coast, The Bellarine and Gold Plains areas. The founder of the practice is Julia Firth, is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Play Therapist. Julia has completed a Bachelor of Social Work from LaTrobe University in 2007 and since have worked in Child Protection, community-based Family Services and counselling in clinical and school-based settings. She has completed advanced certifications in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and Interplay Family Therapy. And currently completing certification in Synergetic Play Therapy.
Julia Firth is Jacintha’s supervisor, so Happy Souls Kids is a very well supported practice.

If you were to ask Lael Stone what it is that she does, she could sum it up in a sentence; “I speak for the heart of the child.”
Whether it is supporting parents to understand their children, helping adults process their own childhood trauma, or creating education systems that value emotional awareness – it all comes back to connection and compassion.
Lael began working in childbirth education and postnatal care in 2004 – working with couples through pregnancy, birth and the first few years of parenting as a Doula, Calmbirth® Practitioner and Postnatal trauma Counsellor. Working in this field certainly showed Lael the importance of connection and trust. From a woman trusting her baby and birthing body to learning all about how to parent with presence and awareness.
In 2020 Lael co-founded Woodline Primary School - “Fostering Connection and Awareness”. She is the co-creator of The Aware Parenting podcast and regularly contributes to The Resilience Project.
